What is Everything Cheeze?

Everything Cheeze is a Grated Cashew Cheese Alternative.

Everything Cheeze is free from dairy, gluten, and soy. It's a highly differentiated multi-use product that can be used in lieu of Parmesan on foods like pizza, pasta, or popcorn, or simply hydrated with hot water and mixed (blended) into a creamy Queso, Ricotta, or Mac & Cheese Sauce in 30 seconds.

Our consumer network loves the umami flavor of Everything Cheeze. It's made with seven recognizable ingredients, which naturally make it taste cheesy!

Everything Cheeze is inherently sustainable. It is a dry and shelf-stable product. It's made with clean ingredients like fair trade organic cashews that are carbon negative when harvested and organic black pepper, and organic onion, garlic, and turmeric.

Our hydrate at home model mitigates the avoidable environmental and economic impacts of shipping water and refridgeration. Each year, the United States grocery channel emits 25% of refrigerants (a greenhouse gas known as hydrofluorocarbons), which can be up to 9,000 times more impactful than carbon dioxide. Everything Cheeze was designed as a sustainable, clean, and delicious product for all consumers to enjoy. It has positive impact on the environment, mitigating uneccessary greenhouse gas emissions and pioneering a new era of cheese.

About the Founder

Alison Elliott founded The Farmer Foodie LLC, as her food blog in January 2020 to share her lifelong passion for recipe creation and sustainable organic food. She is a plant-forward recipe and product developer. Many of her recipes are inspired by her four year career as an Education Manager at McEnroe Organic Farm in Millerton, NY. Ali has published over 160 sustainable recipes on her website: thefarmerfoodie.com

Ali is a passionate solo social entrepreneur. Ali has an MBA in Social Impact and an MA in Sustainable International Development from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University. 

Everything Cheeze is her first product launch. It's the culmination of four plant-based cheeze recipes she created over the last two years. Ali values environmental sustainability and puts it at the forefront of all lifestyle and business decisions.

Social Impact

Our cashews are fair trade, organic, and ethically sourced from a community-driven social impact enterprise in Africa. We only use fair trade organic cashews sourced directly from farmers because we seek to contribute to their economic sustainability and job security. Our sourcing decisions also decreases the environmental footprint of Everything Cheeze.

The majority of cashews grown in Africa are exported to India or Vietnam to be shelled. Cashews are five times larger with their shells, increasing the cost of freight and therefore, increasing the overall footprint of the nut. This process also exports jobs, lowering farmers economic return.
